These last couple of days I've been busy! I made 5 dresses for Maria for when she's a year old. And while that's not for another 10 months, I couldn't resist! I have tons of fabrics, and a lot of time on my hands when Makis goes to daycare. I am by no means a professional sewer, but I've been thinking these dresses would be really fun to make for my Etsy shop, and they'd be really affordable. I love how they turned out.....

Drive By Shooting
I've done it again! Actually, I do it all the time. I am obsessed! I mean, do these people realize how awesome their houses are?
In Samos Town, this house could really have some potential, but it's not cared for! |
Love the balcony and the double door entryway. I KNOW people live here, but this house could really use some TLC, and a good paint job. |
This house is right on a busy street. Because it looks deserted I doubt people even give it a second glance. But I do!!! |
Another mega-mansion, Samos style! Don't care for the blue trim, but I love the windows! They have sea-view! |
This house is right next door, and it was used as some kind of military office. Looks deserted, what a shame! |
Side view. Must be huge inside! |
The house next door to the previous picture. Not sure about the design of the staircase, but I love the concept! |

Daydreaming Babies!
I came across this blog the other day called Mila's daydreams. It's a blog by this Finnish lady who creates "scenes" of her baby's dreams with clothes, and towels or whatever she has in her house on her living room floor. SUCH a cute idea I decided to do it myself!
Such cute ideas! Adele Enerson's blog got so popular that they made her pictures into a book called "When My Baby Dreams" and is available for purchase!

Happy Holidays
This is my favorite time of the year! December is definetely my favorite month. See, it's January, and I'm still thinking of December! I start decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving, and even though we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Samos, it's still on my mind. I don't have a lot of space in my house, but I still decorate the tree, and hang up some other decorations. Nothing too over the top. I like simple, and I LOVE the color red!
Our tree, stockings, and Christmas cards! |
Our happy family! |
The stars I made myself with plastic canvas, and the Santas were made by my mom! |
I made a white star too. I like it! |
My design! |
Materials needed. So simple. |
Makis was very lucky this Christmas. Santa was VERY generous! :) |
